The full list of Writing/Design finalists will be announced Monday. Mark your calendars for the awards party at 6 p.m. Sat. May 31 where we will reveal places and categories and bestow the awards. We’re back at the Duce, 525 S. Central Ave., in downtown Phoenix. Appetizers included and a cash bar. Tickets for $15 available soon. Get ready for a fun time!

The Arizona Photojournalism Awards is pleased to recognize the impressive work of this year’s photo winners! Please join us for two opportunities to highlight the state’s winning photojournalists.
State award presentation:
A gallery opening and ceremony will be held Sat. May 3 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Tempe Camera Repair, 530 W. University Dr., Tempe. Enjoy a gallery of large-size prints of selected winning photos as well as free snacks and refreshments. Certificates will be presented to winners of the state photo categories at 7:45 p.m. Open to the public, all guests welcome. Free admission. For more info, contact Rob Schumacher.
Community award presentation:
Projected images of winning photos and a ceremony will be held as part of the Arizona Press Club awards party at 6 p.m. at Sat. May 31 at The Duce, 525 S. Central Ave, Phoenix.
